A shed is often a distracting after-
thought —an eyesore. This project rethinks this typical wood frame structure in order to elevate it beyond simple utility. Here, the translucent shed sits at the edge of the site acting as a glowing lantern and garden folly, softly illuminating the yard. The shed's inflected shape guides rainwater from its gently pinched roof, delivering it to a small reflecting pool.
